Strongly recommend for an overnight stay

Cozy room, lovely bathroom, with a massive shower enclosure that had a beautiful rain shower and a Nespresso machine for that perfect morning coffee after a good night's sleep.

The room was spacious and well-decorated, providing a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation. noise from the bar below at night made it difficult to sleep. The place is great for a short stay, but quieter stays might be better during the week.

During my stay, I could easily walk to landmarks like Cardiff Castle and City Hall, both about a 15-minute stroll away, which made my city explorations so enjoyable. plus, the pub downstairs has a nice beer garden that was perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing.

The location stands out. it’s in a lovely neighborhood with easy access to nearby parks and just a short walk to the city center. the bar closed too early for my liking, especially on a night out in the city. Sometimes, a bit of noise came from the bar below, but it didn’t really disturb my rest. Despite minor inconveniences, I’d definitely come back.

Don't bring a lot of luggage, as there are quite a few stairs without a lift, making it a hassle for heavy bags. The internet connection could be spotty at times, which can be frustrating if you need it constantly. In my case, the bed had slats that fell out when I first sat on it, which might be a concern for anyone with a bad back. If you stay above the pub, be prepared for some noise from the pub patrons late into the night.
